Category 5 cable, commonly known as Cat 5, is a twisted pair cable type designed for high signal integrity. Many such cables are unshielded but some are shielded. It was also known as UTP cable.
I have saw many people don’t follow the actual colour code when crimping the Cat 5 cable.Even some IT personnel also do that. I was so surprise. So I would like to share with everyone on how to create the correct standard Cat 5 cable, both straight and cross cable.
