Take attention for all Streamyx users or subcribers. Streamyx’s email will be down due to the email maintenance. The email maintenance exercise will start from 11pm on 8th August to 11am on 9th August.

As a result of this maintenance exercise, there will be interruptions to all email services such as difficulties in sending and receiving e-mails via our webmail and e-mail client during this period.

Around 11.30pm, I try to check my email and found it no longer able to download. It keep prompt asking for my username and password. I log onto Streamyx website and found out about this, it was announced on 5th August. Why they never email us to inform us? They should do that. More proper way to inform all the Streamyx subcribers.

Malaysian may pay less for fuel soon, as the Cabinet is mulling over the possibility of lowering the prices. Government might reduce fuel prices if crude oil prices stay at US$125 per barrel for at least three weeks.

At the moment, we still pay RM2.70 a litre for petrol and RM2.58 a litre for diesel.

I believe everyone would be like me, wanted the price to drop soon. If would be great if it was tomorrow but it won’t be tomorrow. Our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi haven’t announce anything yet today.

When will our Prime Minister announcing it? Very soon but nobody know exactly which date so I can’t tell you too. Maybe I try to contact our Prime Minister then I let you know when it going to be. Kidding!

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi just announced the new price for petrol is RM2.70 a litre, effective midnight tonight.

The 40% increase in price is part of the new fuel subsidy plan he announced at 5pm today.

So make sure you pump your petrol full tonight before midnight.

With the increase of petrol price, I believe many people would like to voice out their comments and feedback about it.

A UN official says Myanmar’s junta has seized all the food and equipment that the World Food Program had flown into the country for cyclone victims. The shipment included 38 tons of high-energy biscuits.

The UN official added the WFP “has no choice” but to suspend further aid shipments until the matter is resolved.
