With the technology nowadays, everyone was worrying about spamming and scamming. It was worst than virus or malware. I suggest everyone to make sure the link is trustable before click on it.
Here is one of the spam emails I received today. Before I click on the link and I discover the actual link was pointing to a different address.
Original and genuine address should be http://www.networksolutions.com but it shows me that it was pointing to this suspicious address at http://www.networksolutions.com.sys49.mobi/. It shows me that the actual domain name was sys49.mobi.
Another suspicious thing about this email was I never use the service from Network Solutions so I shouldn’t be receiving this email regarding my domain name expiring.
Be a wise internet user! Careful of all the spams and scams.

Hi Dude,
Thanks for the advice which I found very helpful.
I’m not that tech savvy, but not that stupid to simply follow the link as requested in a mail from “networksolutions” similar to yours above.
I did however C & P it & when the address re-appeared it had the curious extension…”sys.49.mob”… added.
Then when I ‘googled’ it I got to you & learnt from your experience.
Sorry to be so long-winded. Just wanted to say thanks & that I appreciate generous folk like you taking time out to share their knowledge & experience for free ! Cheers, Cos.

Spam and phishing is damn hard to stop. Microsoft cannot do it and US government also can’t stop those spam and phishing emails, links and web sites.
