Wake up 6.30am in the morning. Take a bath and prepare myself to be ready for the bus to fetch me up from my hotel to the port (harbour). Yes, it was the day to go to Pulau Payar for snorkeling.
7.30am, I taken my breakfast just before the bus coming. The bus suppose to be coming on 8.00am.
I’m on the bus and ready to go.

That’s the boat that I’m going to take from Pulau Langkawi to Pulau Payar.

This is the floating reef blatform, Malaysia’s first and only reef platform.
But it was not my destination. I’m heading to the beach.

This is my destination.

I’m in the water now with my Olympus 1030 SW, one of the camera that is waterproof capable.

I swim out and climb aboard the floating platform. This is not the floating reef platform, it is just a normal platform made of plastic.

And here is some underwater snapshots.

Check out this video:
That’s me, of course.

Around 2 something in the afternoon, the rain start to hit Pulau Payar. Everyone was getting out from the water because the strong wave.

3.30pm, we aboard out boat and heading back to Pulau Langkawi. The tour guide and the diving masters recommend that I come for snorkelling or scuba diving between February to April. It would be a nice weather.I was very interested in taking the scuba diving course and becoming a professional scuba diver with a license that allow me to dives in the international water. It would cost me RM1500 for the course. Yes, of course without taking the diving course you can dive but with a diving coach or diving guide with you.
I get back to the hotel and take a nice clean bath. It was a exhausted day for me. I have some rest and then I rent a motorbike because I lazy to walk anymore. I drop by at Underwater World’s Duty Free shop for some liquor and a tin of beer. I drop them back at hotel before coming out seeking for my delicious dinner. I take the tour along Tengah beach and Cenang beach. Finally, I stop at one of the restaurant, Orkid Ria Restaurant that recommended by some taxi drivers.

After the dinner, I decide to ride the motorbike that I rented to Kuah (down town). It was very cold and freezing weather. No problem from Cenang beach to Kuah town. Problem only started after I decided to go back hotel and have a nice rest because of the exhausted day. I get lost because I miss one junction, which I did not turn into. But I still manage to get back in track.
After a long day, a nice cold beer before sleep would be very nice.

It won’t rich if you have the interests. Water-sports was one of my favourite hobbies.
