Another Asus EEE PC killer is on the loose! Hide your Asus EEE PC! Gizmodo’s Brian Lam caught a glimpse of a hot red Dell Mini Inspiron.

With the gaining popularity of ultra-portable and low-cost notebook computers, like the Asus EEE 701 PC, HP 2133 and 3K RazorBook 400, it is no surprise that Dell is jumping in on the mini notebook arena.

The system has 3 USB ports, a card reader, VGA out, Ethernet, and a red candy shell just like in current Inspiron models. From the looks of the pictures it has a decent-size keyboard and a trackpad with two mouse buttons below it. No word on the pricing, CPU, memory, or even the hard drive.

No word on what OS it is running but I believe it would be running on Windows XP. Definitely, Windows Vista is out of the choice.

It was talk about in Gizmodo last month. It actually look better than Asus EEE 701. I heard Asus is going to release EEE 1000 soon.
