Finally, my new desktop computer arrived and running. It was installed and running on Windows XP SP3. The heart of my new machine was running on Core 2 Duo 2.66Ghz, 2GB DDR2 RAM, Gigabyte motherboard and Gigabyte nVidia GeForce 8600. The motherboard is also ready for Quad Core processor.
I tested running with Need For Speed ProStreet and it run very smoothly.

Yes, it did improve some performance.
